Sunball is a European tennis academy specialising in tourism with bases in seven countries (Spain, Italy, Greece, Turkey, Cyprus, Tunisia and Croatia). The Sunball coaches all hold international licences as tennis instructors and have a wealth of experience, expertise and skill to play and teach this sport. They speak many different languages, are extremely friendly and are always on hand to help. You will feel right at home whilst learning and playing your favourite sport.     Every week the Club organises internal tournaments for guests staying at the Resort and external clients. They consist of several matches against different opponents on the same day. The winner takes home a prize.
  • • Weekly sessions to get in contact with tennis
    A couple of times a week the Club offers “contact sessions” for people wanting to try out tennis. The sessions last an hour and will lead to further interest and motivation for this sport.

  • The Babolat pro shop
    The shop is situated in the Sports Bar and sells balls, sports clothes, sports shoes and accessories. Merchandise is of the highest quality and comfortable and modern in design.
  • Racket repair service
    We repair racket strings within a maximum of 24 hours.
  • Tennis Evenings
    Barbecues and dinners for players (regulars and non-regulars). Perfect for getting to know others like you that are passionate about tennis.

Polona Hercog, born January 20, 1991 in Slovenia, is a professional tennis player who has reached big goals in her last's years: in February 15, 2010 she reached the number 59 ranking in singles.

Each season, Hercog comes to Don Carlos Resort where, besides enjoying its exclusive amenities such as the Beach Club, SPA, Deluxe Villas or exclusive restaurants, she trains in the Tennis Club with its 7 clay and 2 rebound ace courts. The Tennis Club, managed by Sunball and located by the sea, gives its members the opportunity to enjoy the presence of important players like Pat Cash, Joaquim Johansson, Magnus Larsson, Peter Lundgren and Vicente Calvo, among others.
